Frank Epperson invented the popsicle at the age of 11. Frank made himself a drink by mixing flavored soda powder with water and leaving it overnight at his porch. When he woke up in the morning, the drink had frozen due to the freezing temperature. He pulled the frozen drink out with the help of the stick and lick it. He didn’t do anything with his invention until 1922, he served his popsicle with people at a large party and they absolutely loved it. 2 years later, Frank’s invention which he called ice on a stick awarded a patent. Frank’s own kid referred to it as a popsicle. That’s how the name popsicle emerged.

Safe Wander Sock Sensor

At the age of 14, Kenneth Shinozuka invented the safe Wander Sock Sensor. A pressure sensor to be worn in a sock, to signal a caregiver that their patient (Alzheimer patient) got out of bed. Kenneth came up with this invention because of this grandfather’s Alzheimer disease. His grandfather wanders at night. Kenneth coded a mobile app to be used with the pressure sensor and a wireless monitoring system. Kenneth’s invention makes use of a sensor a size of a coin which is placed in the sock of a sick patient, when the patient steps on the floor, this pressure is recorded and a signal is sent immediately to the caregiver   with the mobile app.

Water Talkie

The water talkie was invented by Richie Stachowski. in the year 1995 when he was 11 years old. 11 year of Richie was surfing with his dad on a vacation in Hawaii. When they dove under water, riche saw beautiful fishes and amazing things, but he was unable to tell his dad the amazing things which he had seen. He then asked his dad, and his dad told him that there is no invention to enable them to speech under water. When he came out of the water, he started reading and researching and finally invented the water talkie, that enables swimmers to talk under water. The water talkie is made up of a blow valve and a plastic membrane which allows swimmers to talk to each other up to 15 feet away.

Ear Muffs

Chester Greenwood invented the earmuffs at the age of 15. Greenwood invented the ear muffs when he became tired of becoming cold while ice skating. Greenwood a marine native got his patent in the year 1877.

Trampoline

The trampoline is a seamless activity to combine fun with exercise. While the trampoline may look and feel fun, it also a great form of exercise to the body. George Nissan invented the trampoline at the age of 16, in 1930. He was inspired by a visit to the circus, where he saw acrobats drop into safe nets. The word trampoline comes from a Spanish word el trampoline meaning Diving board.
